Dr Lovat graduated from the University of NSW in 2006 and completed internship in Sydney. She then moved to Queensland and worked in a number of hospitals, undertaking rotations in obstetrics, paediatrics, surgery and general medicine before commencing further advanced training in Oncology.
Dr Lovat embarked on General Practice training in 2016 and worked in a number of Sydney practices before relocating to Canberra in 2019 with her husband and 3 young children.
