Dr Fletcher Charlton

BMed (Dist), FRACGP, Child Health Certificate (Formerly Dip CH)

Having grown up on the central coast, Dr Fletcher Charlton studied and completed his medical residency in Newcastle, NSW.

He then spent a few years working in emergency departments across NSW, QLD, and Tasmania, before moving up to northern rivers to complete GP training. He’s since fallen in love with the coastline, farmland and people of the area and is now living in Lennox Head. His favourite part of general practice is the longitudinal care – getting to know his patients on a deeper level, and constantly learning from them as well.

Dr Charlton’s professional interests include skin cancer detection and surgery, mental health and chronic disease management.

When he’s not working, Fletcher can be found playing music, surfing or mountain biking.
