Dr Bastian Seidel studied medicine in Germany and South Africa. He underwent postgraduate training in the UK, USA and Hong Kong before moving to Australia in 2007. He is a Clinical Professor at the University of Tasmania. Bastian is a former President of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He holds a research doctorate in paediatric immunology and has published peer-reviewed, scientific articles as well as books in general medicine, health services research and medical education.
