Dr Susan Hampton
Dr Susan Hampton
MBBS
Dr Hampton graduated from Adelaide University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She joined Barrack Street Practice in 1987 (then known as Dr Davenport and Associates) and after completing 18 months training in obstetrics, gained a diploma in this area. Sue then took over Dr Valerie Davenport’s obstetric practice, which allowed Dr Davenport to retire.
Dr Hampton has a great passion for general practice. She loves the variety and the diversity of challenges that appear in day-to-day general practice. Her particular interest has always been women’s and children’s health, as well as diversifying into minor procedures such as skin checks, Implanon and IUCD insertions.
General practice remains a challenge that Sue really enjoys, especially caring for her patients in a family setting.
