Dr Paul Shire

MBBS, FRACGP

Dr Shire completed his medical degree at the University of Birmingham in 2004, before moving to London to undertake GP training. He moved to Australia in 2012 and worked in Melbourne for 9 years before returning to the UK to spend time closer to family. However, he missed the Australian lifestyle and medical system, so he and his family returned to Australia and are now loving life on the Sunshine Coast.

Dr Shire enjoys all aspects of general practice, especially chronic disease management, older person’s health, children’s health and mental health.

Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family enjoying outdoor activities like cycling, camping, travel and running. He also loves the AFL and is a loyal Hawthorn fan.
