Dr James Maher

Dr. James Maher graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1987. He has worked as a GP in Creswick and Clunes for many years and during that time he became interested in the treatment of skin cancers as they were so prevalent in the farming community.

He completed his 5 year Fellowship in Skin Cancer in 2013, and works as an accredited primary care skin cancer doctor. He tutors in skin cancer for Deakin. His Ballarat Practice is now solely related to the care of skin cancer. He is able to assist with early detection of skin cancers, mole mapping, and the medical/surgical treatment of skin cancers and sun-damage.
