Dr Janis Sauve graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from James Cook University in Townsville in 2015. She has worked at various hospitals across Australia, including the Canberra Hospital and Townsville Hospital. As a GP she has additional training in skin cancer medicine including biopsies, excisions and flaps. She also has additional training in Implanon & Mirena/Kyleena IUD insertions and removals.
Janis has a passion for teaching, as a former lecturer at two Canadian universities and now a Senior Lecturer at ANU Medical School. Janis has a Master’s degree in knee and hip osteoarthritis. Janis enjoys running after her 3 children, completing Park runs, and playing Classical/Coldplay songs on her piano.
