Dr Rohini Ariyasinghe has been working as a medical practitioner in Australia since 1996 – as a resident (hospital} medical officer for about 3 years and then as a GP for over 18 years.
She obtained her MBBS degree from University of Sri Lanka, a certificate from Australian Medical Council (AMC) upon completion of the AMC examinations and a Master of Public Health degree (MPH) from University of Sydney. She also has a diploma in acupuncture and certificates in mental health and women’s health. She is certified to insert Mirena and implanon and also capable of performing minor skin surgeries.
She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). She has been a key member of Grant Street Clinic since 2004.
