Dr Miranda Hann completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland Ochsner School of Medicine in 2017. She completed her internship in Rockhampton (QLD) before moving to Eastern Health in Melbourne, and then to the Royal Hobart Hospital in Tasmania for the remainder of her resident years, enticed over by how drop dead gorgeous this island is. She obtained her GP fellowship on Halloween 2023.

Dr Hann provides gender affirming healthcare via the informed consent model of care and broadly specializes in LGBTIQ+ healthcare. She is an S100 prescriber, prescribes PrEP. She is trauma informed and neurodivergence informed. She is currently on the board for Working it Out, Tasmania’s sexuality, gender and intersex status support and education service.

In her free time, she’s an avid forager and has developed a huge passion for the immense biodiversity of mushrooms in Tasmania. She also hikes and kayaks regularly during her time off.
