Dr Samantha Wyton studied medicine at the University of Tasmania, graduating in 2013. She completed a Diploma of Child Health (2017), Clinical Diploma of Palliative Medicine (2019), and obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2020. Sam is passionate about person-centred care and supporting her patients to determine their own definition of good health. Sam has special interests in palliative care, preventative health (with a weight-inclusive approach), child and perinatal health. Sam is also interested in medical education and enjoys supervising GP registrars and medical students.
Dr Wyton will consider home visits for palliative care patients on request or referral from your regular GP. There will be an additional fee for this service. Dr Wyton is happy to discuss with you if you’d like further information.
In her spare time, Sam enjoys spending time with her young family and her newly found hobby, trying to keep up with Dr Nurman on hikes!
