Dr Madelin Fisher

Dr Maddie grew up in rural NSW and completed degrees in both Science and Medicine with the University of Newcastle, NSW. She completed her junior medical training in North QLD before moving to the Sunshine Coast in 2018 to complete her final years of Rural and Remote GP Specialist training. She has extensive experience in hospital medicine across a variety of disciplines, looking after patients with a focus on holistic and person centred care. She currently works in both Anaesthetics and Emergency across several hospitals in the Sunshine Coast and Gympie.

Dr Maddie is currently undertaking a Masters of Skin Cancer Medicine with the University of QLD, and enjoys all facets of General Practice including acute and emergent care of children and adults, minor procedures, skin checks and chronic disease management.
