Dr Sarah Ahmad moved to Australia in 2018 with her family. She initially worked in a couple of public hospitals in Sydney as a resident in various fields, and then as Principal House Officer in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. During this time, she completed her advanced diploma in women’s health.
She decided to pursue training in general practice and relocated to Brisbane in 2022 and had the opportunity to work in different specialties at Ipswich Hospital. Finally, in 2023 she moved to Toowoomba to commence GP training. Along with learning and enjoying different aspects of general practice she has a particular interest in women’s health, pregnancy care, pediatrics, skin conditions and chronic disease.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, trying new recipes and gardening.
