Born and raised in Sydney, Dr Julian Lai began his healthcare journey as a physiotherapist, graduating from the University of Sydney in 2013. With a passion for expanding his medical expertise, he pursued his medical degree abroad, graduating in 2021 as an international medical graduate.
Dr Lai successfully completed all Australian Medical Council (AMC) examination requirements before undertaking his internship at Mater Private Hospital Townsville in 2023. He then completed his residency at Townsville University Hospital in 2024, gaining valuable experience across various medical specialties.
Currently undertaking GP training, Dr Lai is dedicated to providing comprehensive and patient-centred care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys music and swimming, balancing his professional life with creative and active pursuits.
