Dr O’Connor trained in Fiji, graduating in 2002 from the Fiji School of Medicine. His background includes working in obstetrics, gynaecology and general practice.
He and his family moved to Smithton from Fiji in 2014. He began practicing with the team at Smithton Medical Services which went on to become Ochre Medical Centre Smithton in 2020.
Dr O’Connor has many areas of professional interest including chronic disease management, women’s health and minor surgical procedures.
Outside of the surgery, he enjoys spending time with his family and being in the outdoors.
