Dr Rory Compton
Dr Rory Compton
MBBS, FRACGP
Graduating from University of QLD in 2013, Dr Rory spent much of his residency in the emergency department, both at the RBWH and the Qld Children’s Hospital. He has also worked rotations in rural Queensland, at St George and at Barcaldine. He finished his GP training in 2018 and has been working at Telegraph Road since.
Rory offers an open and collaborative consultation style, and best suits patients who have a genuine interest in their own health. He’s happy to hear concerns and ideas even if they come from Dr Google (Or Dr ChatGPT) but does ask in return that patients are open to hearing why not all their suggestions may be suitable.
Rory lives locally with his wife and 2 children. Outside of work he enjoys running, gaming, eating good food, and spending time with his family.
