Dr Hannay graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 before working at the Toowoomba Base Hospital and Warwick Base Hospital. More recently he has worked at Condamine Medical Centre and Grand Central Medical Centre.
Dr Hannay began practicing at Ochre medical centers in Oakey and Wyalla in 2016. In 2017, he qualified as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He continues to work at the Oakey Hospital providing on-call and locum support, on top of his work as a GP.
