Holter monitoring
Holter monitoring involves a portable battery powered device which monitors your heart’s electrical activity. It is typically worn for 24-48 hours, and provides your doctor with a continuous record of your heart’s activity during that time. This is useful for diagnosis of intermittent conditions such as arrhythmia, which may not present during a standard ECG.
