Dr Sanjeewani Muthu Ranhoti Pedige completed her medical degree and early medical training in Sri Lanka, where she gained experience across general medicine, general surgery, respiratory medicine and emergency care.

Since moving to Australia, Dr Pedige has worked for more than two years at Echuca Regional Health, completing rotations in general medicine, general surgery, emergency medicine, paediatrics and obstetrics.

Her clinical interests include preventive health, chronic disease management, women’s health, children’s health and general family medicine. Dr Pedige enjoys getting to know her patients, understanding their individual needs and working together with them to support their health and wellbeing.

Outside of medicine, Dr Pedige enjoys playing netball, travelling and spending quality time with her family.
