Dr Clare Guest


Dr Clare Guest is a specialist General Practitioner, Rural Generalist and Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Monash University in 2011, Dr Guest completed her internship and residency at Monash Health in Melbourne. Dr Guest obtained a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) in 2015 and achieved Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2016.

After Fellowship, Dr Guest spent several years providing general practice, emergency and obstetric care in North East Victoria. In 2020, Dr Guest established and operated a remote front-line general practice clinic for a multinational mining and resources company. Dr Guest has worked extensively as a Rural Generalist providing emergency medicine services to public and private hospitals in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania. Dr Guest also lectures students at the University of Melbourne.

Dr Guest has a special interest in skin cancer medicine and has completed Certificates in both Skin Cancer Medicine and Skin Cancer Surgery. Her other interests include women’s health, children’s health and emergency medicine.

Outside of work, Dr Guest enjoys exploring Australia with her husband, two young children and two golden retrievers.
