Dr Jennifer Firman

Dr Firman spent 22 years as a doctor in the Royal Australian Navy and during that time achieved her specialist qualification in general practice. She subsequently has had a varied career including work in the Department of Health and Ageing on national health emergency planning and response. She now works in the Department of Veterans’ Affairs providing health advice for veterans.
Dr Firman continues to practice once a week to maintain her clinical skills. She enjoys all areas of general practice including family medicine, sports medicine and mental health.
In her spare time she likes to cycle, hike, travel and spend time with her family.

Dr Firman practices at Ochre Health Medical centre Garran one afternoon per week to maintain her skills as a General Practitioner.
