Dr Patricia Shephard
MBBS, BMedSc
Dr Shephard graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMedSc) in 1981 and then went on to undertake a Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney, graduating in 1984. She has since gained her Diploma of Health Management from Edith Cowan University, is a fellow of the RACGP and a member of the Australian Medical Association.
Dr Shephard has a strong interest in the early detection and management of breast cancer, spending 10 years as clinical director of Breast Screen Tasmania.
When not practising at Ochre Health Barrack Street, she undertakes work as a surgical assistant to neurosurgeon Mr Arvind Dubey.
Dr Shephard is dedicated to providing ongoing and comprehensive health care for her patients. She particularly enjoys having long-lasting patient relationships and working in partnership with them to address their health care needs within the context of family and community.
