She practised for ten years in her native Sri Lanka, working in both general practice and hospital medicine, before moving to Australia in 2020. She then worked as a GP in a rural practice in Wodonga before joining the Lancefield practice in 2022.
Away from work, Dr Weththasinghe loves spending any spare time she has outdoors with her kids and enjoys cycling and aerobics. She also loves cooking and is always happy to try any new recipe, especially curries and desserts.
