Dr Koen completed his medical degree at The University of Stellenbosch in South Africa in 1994. As a young doctor he worked in South Africa, the UK and Australia covering most areas of medicine before settling in Taranaki, New Zealand where he specialized in Urgent Care Medicine and then General Practice in 2011
Dr Koen also has a special interest in skin cancer care and has completed a diploma in dermoscopy in 2019. He is continuing his training in skin cancer medicine. He enjoys family medicine has been a solo General Practitioner in New Plymouth, New Zealand for several years before selling his practice to a large group.
Pre-employment medicals are available with Dr Koen including OEUK, AMSA & NZMA.
Outside of medicine, Rall’s interests include kite surfing, pickle ball, tennis and squash.
