Dr Colin Smith

MBBS, BMed, FACRRM, FRACGP

Colin has worked as a Rural Generalist in rural and remote Australia for 22 years, including GP obstetrics and anaesthetics, acute hospital medicine in Arnhem Land, Aboriginal primary healthcare in remote communities and homelands, hospital administration and as an owner of private general practice.

Colin has extensive experience as a supervisor, trainer and educator, being an exam supervisor for both colleges, a rural clinical school lecturer and a REST course instructor for ACCRM, running emergency training for GPs. Colin has an interest in Skin Cancer & Occupational Medicine and was a Registered Nurse in the UK prior to starting his career pathway as a doctor.
