Dr Lisa Fernandez

Dr Lisa Fernandez is a General Practitioner with a broad scope of practice and a strong interest in geriatric care and women’s health.

Born and raised in Wollongong, she moved to Far North Queensland to study medicine and complete her internship before returning to Wollongong. She undertook her specialist training locally and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Additionally, she has completed the Emergency Medicine Certificate with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine and the Sydney Children Health Program (formerly known as Diploma of Child Health)

Dr Fernandez provides antenatal shared care and enjoys treating patients across all stages of life including children and older adults. Her clinical interests also include chronic disease management and mental health. She is committed to delivering holistic, patient-centred care.
