A/Prof. Peter Cain

Associate Professor Peter Cain is a CTCA accredited specialist with extensive experience in Cardiac CT imaging (CTCA and CAC). He has extensive experience in all areas of cardiac imaging and undertook advanced training in cardiac MRI at the Huddinge and Lund University Hospitals in Sweden for almost three years. 

His background also includes advanced cardiology training in Brisbane and a PhD in Medicine from the University of Queensland in the field of stress echocardiography. He has developed new digital diagnostic technologies in this area and published nearly 30 peer-reviewed scientific articles. 

Assoc. Prof. Cain performs and interprets echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, cardiac MRI, exercise stress testing and stress echocardiography and is available for appointments every second Friday.
