Dr Julia Kilpatrick
Dr Julia Kilpatrick
BCom, LLB, MBBS, FRACGP, Dip Palliative Care
Julia completed her post graduate medical degree in Sydney at the University of Notre Dame before working as a junior doctor in her home town of Melbourne at the Austin Hospital, which she thoroughly enjoyed. After having her first child she decided to move to Hobart with her husband, a Tasmanian, to pursue her career in General Practice and raise her family in a smaller, supportive community with a focus on nature and the outdoors. She now has two children and enjoys art, bushwalking, ocean swimming, snow sports and spending time with family and friends in her free time. She enjoys all areas of General Practice and values getting to know patients and their families over time, providing continuity of care. She also enjoys surgical assisting in the area of Gynaecology.
