Dr Chi So

BMed, MPH, MMed, (Skin Cancer)

Dr Chi So is a GP with extensive experience in skin cancer diagnosis and management. He believes in an empathetic and caring approach to his consultations and can perform full body skin checks, mole and spot checks, dermoscopy, skin cancer surveillance, excisions, biopsies, and minor procedures.

Dr So completed the requirements for a Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2017. Due to his special interest in skin cancer, he went on to complete the Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) and is an experienced dermoscopist (skin microscopy for diagnosis of skin cancer). His approach is to balance the need for effective skin cancer treatment with the cosmetic outcomes of such treatment.

Dr So has completed the Master of Public Health and has been involved in NHMRC-funded research projects in the field of skin cancer medicine. He has published research papers in international journals exploring the epidemiology and public health aspects of skin cancer management in Australian primary care.
