Dr Sue Guirguis is a dedicated doctor with a special interest in skin cancer medicine and surgery, caring for patients in the Canberra region for over 20 years. Dr Sue provides comprehensive skin assessments and management, with expertise in skin cancer detection, diagnosis and treatment, including procedural care. She also performs wedge resection procedures and toenail care where clinically indicated. Dr Sue has undertaken extensive postgraduate training in skin cancer medicine, surgery, dermoscopy and dermatology, including qualifications through the Skin Cancer College Australasia and the The University of Queensland. Her qualifications include a Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery, Professional Diplomas in Skin Cancer Surgery, Dermoscopy and Dermatology, as well as advanced training in skin cancer surgery and dermoscopy. Across her career, Dr Sue has completed 10 postgraduate diplomas, reflecting her ongoing commitment to professional development and high-quality patient care. Dr Sue is an accredited Skin Cancer Doctor with the Skin Cancer College Australasia. In addition to her skin cancer expertise, she has undertaken further medical training in aesthetic and skin-related procedures, supporting patients with treatments where medically appropriate and tailored to individual clinical needs.
