Dr Kotie Ras
MBBS, FRACGP
Born in South Africa, Dr Ras completed her studies at University of Pretoria, South Africa.
She worked in the SANDF as a uniform member from 1992 to 2003, before going to the UK to work as a GP from 2003 to 2007.
She returned to South Africa in 2007 and worked for International SOS before moving to Australia in 2008 and completing her RACGP Fellowship.
Since arriving in Australia, Dr Ras has worked extensively as a GP as well as for both International SOS and the Australian Defence Forces.
In her spare time, Dr Ras and her husband are keen birdwatchers, going far and wide in search of rare species. Keen joggers, they enjoy park runs on Saturdays and participate in the Sydney City to Surf annually.
