Dr Chet Sezer graduated from the University of Sydney in 1991 and has been a GP for more than 20 years. His Hospital placement was at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney where he worked in emergency medicine, cardiothoracic surgery, and the melanoma unit where he developed a keen interest in skin cancer surgery. He has had over 20 years of experience in skin cancer surgery in both Sydney and Ballina.
He also has interests in chronic disease management, preventative and evidence-based medicine, and procedural surgery. Dr Sezer is a Fellow of RACGP and a medical educator involved in supervising and mentoring junior doctors, registrars and medical students.
He enjoys living locally with his wife and four children and enjoys travel and sporting activities.
