Schedule of fees
Doctors practicing at Ochre are independent practitioners and they bill privately. This means patients will be charged a fee that is higher than the Medicare rebate for their consultation, in other words the Medicare rebate patients receive after paying their bill will only cover part of the total cost. These billing arrangements apply to both face-to-face and telehealth (video and phone) consultations. The only exceptions are DVA cardholders. Pensioners are eligible for the discounted fees below. Commonwealth seniors healthcare card holders are eligible for a discounted rate of $75. Please note that QLD seniors cards are not eligible for discounts. Please also note that some of our GPs do privately bill children under the age of 16 and Commonwealth healthcare card holders. For more information, please ask our friendly reception staff.
