Dr Margot Doherty

MBBS, FRACGP, Dip (Child Health)

Dr Margot completed her medical studies at James Cook University in 2015 and has been working in General Practice since 2018 in both rural and metropolitan settings. She obtained her fellowship with RACGP in 2020 and has furthered her studies with a Diploma in Child Health and a Certificate in Primary Care Dermatology. She loves the variety of General Practice but if had to pick areas of interest they would be child and adolescent health, women’s health and skin conditions. In her downtime Dr Margot enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter as well as a bit of yoga, pilates and music making.
