Dr Syed Fawwad Qaiser earned his medical degree from the University of Karachi, Pakistan, in 2003. He has a wealth of experience in various medical fields, having worked in the Pakistan hospital system for several years in areas including general medicine, emergency care, and nephrology. Dr Qaiser has undertaken fellowship training with the College of Physician & Surgeons of Pakistan.

In 2008, he relocated to Ireland, where he worked for four years across a broad range of medical disciplines, including respiratory medicine, cardiology, haematology, oncology, endocrinology, geriatric medicine, and gastroenterology. He became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Glasgow.

Dr Qaiser migrated to Australia in 2013, where he has since worked extensively in different areas, including Tasmania, Queensland, and New South Wales. In 2017 he undertook part 1 of fellowship training with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He has also trained as a specialist registrar in Geriatrics at Gosford Hospital for 3 years.

Outside of his medical work, Dr Qaiser likes to keep active by playing cricket and going for long walks in the countryside. He is also an avid reader.
