Dr Megan Thomas (they/she) is a Specialist GP, having completed their medical degrees at the University of New South Wales before relocating to the Illawarra to continue hospital and general practice training. She is passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion, and practices using a holistic, person-centred, and trauma-informed approach.
Megan has lived experience and special interest in EDS and related conditions. She is also highly experienced in gender affirming care and LGBTIQ+ medicine, having co-founded the Illawarra Shoalhaven Gender Alliance (ISGA), a health promotion charity supporting the health and human rights of our gender diverse community.
