Dr Robert Clark

BMedSc, BMed

Dr Clark graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Medical Sciences from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom in 2013 and went on to complete the two year ‘Foundation Program’ in the north of Scotland. After moving to Singapore, he worked for 12 months in orthopaedic surgery at Changi General Hospital.

With much excitement, Dr Clark took up the opportunity to move to Australia back in 2016. Passionate about rural medicine, he worked for 18 months in the Emergency Department at Wonthaggi Hospital in South Gippsland before moving to Alice Springs, where he worked as a general practitioner for almost two years.

He joined Ochre Medical Centre Cooma as a GP in May 2020, and he is currently working towards a Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM). His special interest areas include mental health and orthopaedics.

Away from the practice, Dr Clark loves the outdoor lifestyle that Cooma and the surrounding areas have to offer.
