Dr Barbara Moritz
Dr Barbara Moritz graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1982 and has worked in general practice since 1985. She moved to Tamworth in 1991. Over the years she has undertaken other roles alongside general practice, including 3 years as the Director of Medical Services at Tamworth Hospital and a number of years in GP training. Her particular medical interests are Women’s Health and chronic disease management, especially diabetes and chronic kidney disease. Dr Moritz consults all day on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings.
