Dr Mammoottil completed his medical training in India before moving to Australia to complete hospital rotations in Brisbane, Canberra, Hervey Bay and Perth. He has chosen his rotations to provide the breadth of experience required for GP work, including surgery, urology, orthopaedics and emergency.
He began practicing with Ochre as a registrar and is keen to work in a practice where he can learn from GPs with many years of experience.
Dr Mammoottil has a young family and was attracted to the area due to its lifestyle and good educational opportunities.
