Dr Gary Heathcote grew up in Hobart and studied at the University of Tasmania. He spent some time as an Army doctor with the Australian Defence Force including tours of East Timor and Afghanistan. He has interests in emergency medicine, Veterans’ health, men’s health, palliative care and aged care.
