Dr Sian Hebron

Dr Sian has been working in Noosa since 1994, specialising in General Practice. A graduate of the Royal Free Hospital, London, in 1988 she moved to Australia chasing climate and improved lifestyle in medicine. Initially training in Paediatrics, she moved into General Practice when her own family was planned. Over the years she has developed an interest and expertise in all aspects of general care but has a particular interest in mental health, including eating disorders, ADHD, ASD, anxiety and depression.

Dr Sian has completed training in cognitive behavioural therapy and focused psychological strategies which allows patients access to higher rebates for mental health visits. Her other passion is menopause management  A member of the Australasian Menopause Society, she offers her expertise to help women
navigate the challenges that occur both physically and psychologically through this time of change.

Dr Sian values developing rapport with her patients to be able to form a collaborative relationship to provide the best health outcomes. To that end, she wants to provide longer appointments to her patients – this requires her to charge a higher gap fee for more complex longer appointments to be able to continue to provide this service.

On a personal note, Sian’s move to Australia has never been regretted – she enjoys the lifestyle of fresh air and activity, and can often be seen out on the water rowing (if you wake up early enough). Her daughters have grown and flown, with one living in Melbourne (an excuse to visit and update the wardrobe!).

For information about Dr Hebron’s private fees, please call the practice on (07) 5343 1400 to speak with the reception staff.
