Dr. Victor Wu graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School in 2013. He completed his GP training in Glenorie and the Blue Mountains. He received his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019. After he started practicing as a GP in Wentworth Falls, he undertook additional training at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital in Emergency Medicine. He received his Certificate of Emergency Medicine by the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine in 2021. His final mark for his ACEM exam was 99%.

Dr. Wu enjoys all aspects of general practice, or family medicine as it is phrased in Canada where he comes from. Prior to his career in medicine, he was a clinical researcher in projects with SickKids Hospital and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation in Toronto, Queen’s University in Kingston, and McMaster University in Hamilton. He has a special tie to BethanyKids at Kijabe Hospital in Kenya, Africa, where he spent 7 months there helping further research in paediatric, surgically correctable disabilities. His Master of Science is in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University, and he is a strong advocate for evidence-based medicine.

Outside of work, Victor enjoys taking time away with his wife and two rescue dogs. His wife boasts that he is an excellent cook.
