Bourke – GP VMO
- RVTS location
- Sign-on bonus
- On-target earnings upwards of $500K
Are you a difference-maker? An exceptional GP VMO who teams IQ with EQ, forges genuine community connections and practices patient-centred care with passion, all the while zealously valuing innovation and knowledge-sharing that propel health outcomes ahead?
If yes, then you may fit right in at Ochre Health. We are looking for GP VMOs who share our purpose and values to join our network in Bourke.
In addition to the General Practice, this role will also include coverage of the NSW Health Multi-Purpose Service including on-call responsibilities for ED, inpatients and aged care as a Visiting Medical Officer. Telehealth support exists within the service for CAT 3-5 presentations occurring out of hours. A very attractive daily rate for hospital work is incorporated into the overall package.
Making a difference is at the heart of what we do. We believe we make a bigger and better difference together. Our powerful GP eco-system is transforming healthcare throughout rural and regional Australia with:
- Ongoing education and training to promote preventative health outcomes and curate the future of healthcare in Australia
- Our diverse GP eco-system brings together different ideas, abilities and perspectives working together to create healthier communities
- Your location across our network is your choice; working hours and your practice approach all shaped by your personal choice
Your personal difference
Certainly, you will have General Registration or Vocational Registration with AHPRA. But we are looking beyond the basics for a GP VMO who lives and breathes our purpose and values. 7-minute medicine is not part of your vocabulary. Rather, you take a determined all-bases-covered approach to solving medical problems and keep the patient at the heart of everything you do. Your thirst for innovation and upskilling is matched by a passion for sharing your own unique ideas, experience, and expertise.
Location settings to live life your way
Bourke is one of the largest centres in Western NSW, with a population of 1,824 at last census. After it was settled, Bourke quickly established itself as the main trade hub of the region, linking large outback stations to major trade routes including the Darling River’s boat trade. Its significance as a major centre is evidenced to this day by its wealth of colonial and federation buildings.
