Ochre Health’s Urgent Care Centres are seeking experienced GPs who enjoy acute care, procedural medicine, and being part of something meaningful.
This is your opportunity to provide accessible, timely care that helps keep patients out of Emergency Departments while supporting local communities with high-quality urgent care.
We are currently recruiting for flexible shifts across our Sunshine Coast Urgent Care Centres at Sippy Downs and Caloundra, with opportunities available across weekdays, evenings and weekends in a structured, well-supported clinical environment.

The Role – High-Acuity, Hands-On Medicine
This is fast-paced urgent care with genuine clinical variety.
You will manage:
- Minor trauma and stable fractures
- Acute musculoskeletal injuries
- Laceration repair and complex wound management
- Abscess drainage and minor procedures
- Acute infections and exacerbations
- Stabilisation of urgent presentations within scope
- Walk-in patients requiring same-day care
You’ll assess, treat and stabilise patients with a strong focus on clinical decision-making and appropriate escalation pathways.
This role suits GPs who:
- Enjoy procedural work
- Are confident in urgent presentations
- Prefer structured acute care without hospital politics
- Value autonomy within a supported framework
The centre operates with clear triage systems, experienced nursing support, and streamlined workflows allowing you to focus on high-quality patient care.
About You
- FRACGP or FACRRM
- Current AHPRA registration with Specialist Registration
- Current ALS2 certification
- Confident managing urgent and acute presentations
- Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care or Rural General Practice will be highly regarded
