The Opportunity

An opportunity exists for a GP looking to establish a successful and busy practice in a state-of-the-art mixed billing facility.

Ochre is currently undergoing a growth phase in Hobart. We have recently opened our Hobart Health Hub, a large, newly refurbished building hosting multiple tenancies for other healthcare providers and an expansive medical centre at its heart, boasting 16 consult rooms and two treatment rooms. Ochre is able to offer GPs more freedom than their competitors – with open-term contracts, flexible hours, and the ability to work between multiple locations allowing doctors to get the balance right for their lifestyle.

Ochre Health is one of Australia’s leading General Practice organisations. Founded in 2002 by Dr Hamish Meldrum and Dr Ross Lamplugh in the NSW outback town of Bourke, Ochre is the only General Practice organisation in all MMM areas, from metro to remote Australia. Ochre now supports over 450 doctors, including 90 registrars.
