We’re on the lookout for two passionate full-time GP VMO Supervisors to join our team in beautiful Tasmania. This isn’t just another clinical role – it’s an opportunity to mentor the next generation of rural doctors, influence the future of rural healthcare, and still enjoy a flexible lifestyle with the stunning backdrop of Tasmania’s natural beauty.

The Role
In this role, you’ll supervise up to four registrars across the RACGP and ACRRM pathways, providing clinical guidance and pastoral support as they develop their skills in the rewarding world of rural general practice.
You’ll also:
• Provide GP services at our well-supported medical centres in rural Tasmania.
• Be credentialed (or willing to be) with the Tasmanian Health Service (THS).
• Offer back-up on-call support at the local hospital – because real mentorship means being there when it counts.
• Have the option to step into the Medical Coordinator role if leadership is your passion.
• This role is part of our ongoing recruitment for GP VMOs to our rural sites across Tasmania, where you can make a lasting impact on the local community.

You’ll Need
• Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM.
• Current AHPRA registration (Specialist).
• Supervisor status (or eligibility to become a supervisor) across RACGP/ACRRM.
• THS credentialing (or willingness to obtain it).
