The Opportunity

Part-time Role (3 days per week):

  • Providing healthcare services to 650 Collarenebri residents
  • Clinic open 3 days per week (Monday to Wednesday: 8:30am – 5:00pm)
  • At the GP clinic seeing between 25 to 30 patients per day
  • Hospital on-call 3 days per week (Monday to Wednesday).
  • Hospital presentation per week are between 5 to 10
  • Hospital – has 3 emergency beds, 3 acute care beds, 9 bed residential aged care ward and 1 respite bed. In addition NSW Ambulance Services is also attachedto the facilities
  • Services within WNSW LDH include Dental, Podiatrist, Optometrist, Maternal & Infant care, Immunisation services, Radiology, Mental Health, Physiotherapy, Diabetic and Dietician services

  • $25k incentive payment
  • On-call daily rate at the hospital $800
  • Fully furnished house and car (with fuel card) provided
  • Access to MM6 & DPA rural retention and relocation grants
  • FIFO option available

Suitability

  • General Registration or Vocational Registration with AHPRA
  • Recent Emergency experience within the last 12 months and certificate (ALS or equivalent)
  • Strong interest in Chronic Disease Management
