Dr Bernard Kopano graduated in Galway, Ireland, in 2006. He completed two years of basic physician training in Ireland, including rotations in geriatrics, endocrine/diabetes, respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, and emergency medicine.
Since 2011 Dr Kopano has worked in Australia, with experience in internal medicine and ICU in Port Macquarie, nine months in general practice on the Central Coast, and, from 2014, a focus on occupational medicine with the Coal Board.
