Dr Hannah Collings-Andrews grew up on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, where she completed an undergraduate degree in Social Sciences and Literature Studies. She later moved south to study medicine at the Australian National University in Canberra.
Following graduation, she worked as a junior doctor in hospitals across rural New South Wales before relocating to Launceston to complete advanced training in Emergency Medicine. She is now commencing her training in general practice with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine.
Dr Collings-Andrews was drawn to Tasmania by her love of the natural world and feels fortunate to call St Helens home. Outside of work, she enjoys bushwalking, baking, reading, travel and art.
