Dr Irfan Hakeem

Before joining Ochre’s Lightening Ridge practice, Dr Hakeem spent time as a locum GP with Ochre in Tasmania.

He has extensive experience as a locum GP/VMO, working as a GP during clinic hours while providing on-call emergency support to local hospitals in regional, rural and metropolitan communities across Victoria.

Prior to that, he spent a year as a Hospital Medical Officer in Victoria and a decade as a GP in Iraq and Turkey.
