Before embarking on his medical pathway, Dr Taylor worked as a Strategy Consultant in new technologies in London. In 2006, he decided to retrain, embarking on a medical degree at the University of Nottingham. Graduating in 2010, he went on to work as a hospital doctor in Derbyshire and Manchester, before reskilling again and training as a GP. In 2018, Dr Taylor obtained a fellowship with the Australian College of General Practitioners.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his two young children, playing tennis and trekking.
